MONTE ALBAN, Mexico 8oz

MONTE ALBAN, Mexico 8oz

~ Toffee, Black Cherry, Almond ~

This 10 bag lot comes from the southwest state of Oaxaca, nestled between Guerrero to the north and Chiapas to the south, and was offered at UNTAO by a broker on behalf of a small group of 10 farmers. The culturally heavy Zapotec area is home to farmers growing primarily Bourbon and Typica, with a speckling of Catuai, Caturra, and Mundo Novo. Coffees are washed and dried on patios and then sent to the UNTAO mill, which sits only 9 km from the ancient Zapotec Ruins of Monte Alban, hence the name.
