Cascara is the skin of the coffee cherry, which when dried and processed can be enjoyed as an herbal tisane.

We've been sampling cascara for some time now, and we've finally found one that we want to share. This cascara comes to you via Perla Negra, a single estate farm in Las Lajas, Costa Rica. 

The longer you let the cascara steep, the sweeter it will get. We love drinking it with a slice of lemon. Also, it is quite nice to enjoy in the summer iced with seltzer!
