This is our 4th season bringing in a coffee from Karla Garcia's Finca Bruhwer. This lot, a natural processed typica, is a coffee we look forward to tasting every year. It's always a favorite and this year's no different, with notes of maraschino cherry, raspberry, and cacao.
Finca Bruhwer is located in Quilanga, Loja, Ecuador and run by Karla Garcia and her partner. The farm sits at an elevation of approximately 1900 meters and consists of 3-4 Ha of coffee, planted with Typica (or "criollo" as they call it in Ecuador) and San Salvador. This lot is 100% Typica. Upon cherry arriving to the wet mill, the coffee is dried between the sun and the parabolic dryers, for approximately 20 days.
We were only able to secure a small amount of this coffee, so it won't be around for long. Grab a bag while it lasts!
